Description

The Democracity workshop is a role-playing game: the participants form a political party in small groups and draw up a programme. By discussing and arguing with the other parties, the participants build a city. They have to defend their priorities and take into account budgetary realities. Each participant experiences the limitations and challenges of representative democracy while learning more about how our institutions work.

Want to get an overview of how a workshop is run? We offer you a free video tutorial available online.

The workshop can also be conducted independently in the classroom or online. Download the teacher's guide or find it in the play box. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Reservation limited to max. 3 workshops per school, of which 1 is RECHT.
If the workshop is cancelled less than 2 weeks before the agreed date, we will have to charge the school a participation fee of €250.
