Deux jeunes artistes très prometteuses interpréteront des oeuvres de Myaskovsky, Martinu, Ysaÿe et Franck, musique pour violoncelle et piano.

Born in 1996 into a family of musicians, Stéphanie Huang started playing the cello at 4 years old. At age 12, she won the First Prize of the National Music Competition (« Concours Dexia » Belgium) and she made her debut by performing Tchaikovsky’s Rococo Variations at the « Théâtre Royal de la Monnaie » in Brussels. She has appeared as concert cellist in national and international festivals. As a soloist, she played with different orchestras such as the Royal Chamber Orchestra of Wallonie, the Kamerfilharmonie van Vlaanderen, Orquestra Sinfonica do Porto/Casa da Musica …
Pianist Ioana Mândrescu performed, for the first time in Romania, the Concerto no. 1 by John Field. In 2008 and 2009, she competed, as an accompanist piano player, in George Enescu and Jeunesses musicales contests. She had worked as well as an accompanist with Collegium Vocale in Gent and collaborated with Brussels Philharmonic.
