Meet your guide and small group of no more than 15 people. Then, after a brief introduction, set off on foot on your 2,5-hour beer tasting tour.
As you walk to your first stop, get the lowdown on Belgium’s proud brewing traditions and discover some of the secrets behind its wide range of delicious beers.
Make your first stop at one of the city’s most popular bars, and taste your first beer. Swap thoughts on the flavour and notes, and soak up the convivial spirit as you chat to your guide and group.
From here, move on to other lively beer haunts, including some hidden gems loved by and known only to the locals.
Don’t forget that we bring you to places from most trendy to most medieval to satisfy every age in our tour. Over the course of the tour, sample a selection of bigger brands and craftwork brews, tasting a gutsy mix from malty, hoppy, fruity, reddish, and herby beers to sour and triple varieties.
As we are almost heading 2hours of this tour, we are going for the last beer spot which overwhelms you with an unique, fresh exemplar. Brewing stories of our beer queen or king, will make this story complete. Trappist or Lambic beers can be enormously surprising if we match them with some chocolate or other local delicacies to enjoy the full Belgian beer-and-food experience. After 2,5 hours, your tour concludes in central Ghent where your guide will leave you, leaving you free to stay on or to continue bar-hopping.
