Description
For the first time in Belgium, a fashion museum is running an exhibition on men's fashion. The exhibition covers various styles - from the “Great Masculine Renunciation” of the late 18th century to the androgynous fashion of today.
This exhibition celebrates the creativity, inventiveness and talent of contemporary designers. It showcases the work of many Belgian designers, such as Raf Simons, Walter Van Beirendonck, Namacheko, Mosaert, Xavier Delcour as well as international designers and fashion labels, such as Off-White, Jean Paul Gaultier, John Stephen, Giorgio Armani, Comme des Garçons and Westwood & McLaren. It also explores how men's fashion captures and inspires the ever-changing notion of masculinity... or rather masculinities!
