Description
PROLONGED UNTIL THE 7TH OF FEBRUARI
What ideological, social and biophysical factors have precipitated the current environmental crises? What leverages are available for transformative practices and imaginaries to overcome the continuous growth of our energy footprints?
The Post Growth exhibition invites us to explore alternative routes and examine the radical consequences of an economic model based on renewable energy emitted by the Sun.
The exhibition looks at the perspectives of an exit from fossil fuels, on which the gigantic production machine that currently drives our societies depends. The series of works presented thus proposes to envision a social metabolism in reconnection with the living, energetic and material qualities of the biosphere, drawing on notions from ecofeminism, indigenous studies, environmental accounting and hacking.
