From medieval armor to the F-16 fighter plane: the Royal Museum of the Armed Forces and Military History presents 12 centuries of military history through uniforms, weapons and heavy machinery. On top of that, it accommodates an Air and Space Hall with 130 airplanes and the recent Antarctica room.

The diversity and richness of the ensemble presented in a magnificent architectural setting is astonishing! For this evening, the focus is on the foreign collections. Witnesses of distant lands and rather curious objects invite you to an imaginary journey, without forgetting the incredible collection of airplanes that allow you to escape for an evening.

There are also 5 viewing cards offered, while travelling through our collections. The Museum of Art and History, our neighbour, also offers 5 viewing cards of the same concept. These cards are intended for both children and adults and are made available in both museums as well as on their websites.

EXTRA MUROS – Cinquantenaire Arcade Panorama – A guided tour for 15 participants connects the non-European art section of the Art & History Museum with the Army Museum. Going from one museum to the other happens via a secret passage in the Cinquantenaire Arcade normally closed to the public!

STANDING GUIDES – Trip around the world – During the nocturne, guides and curatorial, mediation and history professionals are available in several areas of the museum to help you travel through the international collections. Take out those smartphones and scan the strategically placed QR codes to learn more about the museum’s professions. Buckle up and let’s go!
