Children's fashion is constantly evolving. It is becoming more inclusive and sustainable. New labels appear every year. This is the perfect opportunity for the Fashion & Lace Museum to devote an exhibition to children's fashion, from 8 July to 5 March 2023. Through fashion, Kidorama tells the story of the child's place and the development of its individuality.

Through a thematic and chronological journey, Kidorama questions the current fashion
for children aged 0-12 years. Several themes address the specificities of this fashion and its
from 1820 to 2020: mimicry with adult fashion, models designed specifically for children
the growing interest of the luxury industry.
The exhibition also looks at social issues such as the construction of gender and the development of
and the development of mixed or unisex fashion, the importance of eco-responsibility in the fashion
the fashion industry...
Kidorama is of course about children, but above all it is for them! The exhibition in addition to having designed its scenography to satisfy both young and old - offers children
many activities for children:
- A fun and interactive tour
- A colouring book inspired directly by the pieces presented
- Paper dolls workshops on special days dedicated to children such as
International Children's Rights Day, Saint Nicholas Day, etc.
- A family day, the first organised by the museum
- Training days during the school holidays
- ...
