The Winter Wonders Christmas market, with its sparkling Ferris wheel, is an excellent place to enjoy your first encounter with the cold. Its wooden chalets create an authentic feeling while the iconic Ferris wheel takes you to another level and gives you the chance to admire the city and its traditional lights from above. This year, some exciting new audiovisual installations are planned to brighten up Brussels, in every sense of the word.

Christmas, Scandinavian-style

In northern European countries, the end-of-year festivities are taken very seriously and traditions really warm up the winter! With its spirit of hygge, the Finnish Christmas market is all about cosiness. It is the ideal place to immerse yourself in the Finnish culture among the delicious wafts of glögg mulled wine and cinnamon bread!

Glittery balls, colourful barley sugar, hanging decorations and garlands… no less than 16,000 decorative objects are on display in the pleasant stalls in this enchanting boutique. As an added bonus, you’ll find a large selection of trees from the Ardennes, ready and waiting to be decorated.

Let it Slow, sustainable and local Christmas market 

Marché de Noël durable et local - LET IT SLOW

Below the glass roof of Be-Here, Let it Slow, as a sustainable and local market, invites you to get stuck in! With the feel of a giant workshop and a diverse range of entertainment, this event has plenty of personality and provides ethical festivities. In addition to local decorations, homemade soap, zero-waste initiatives, wine, beer, chocolate and other delicacies, you’ll also be able to enjoy a wonderful concert and some improvised shows from pupils of the Florent classes to add to the atmosphere. In the kid’s corner, children will be enchanted by the original cycling track and a workshop for temporary festive tattoos.
