The Winter Wonders Christmas market, with its sparkling Ferris wheel, is an excellent place to enjoy your first encounter with the cold. Its wooden chalets create an authentic feeling while the iconic Ferris wheel takes you to another level and gives you the chance to admire the city and its traditional lights from above. This year, some exciting new audiovisual installations are planned to brighten up Brussels, in every sense of the word.

Glittery balls, colourful barley sugar, hanging decorations and garlands… no less than 16,000 decorative objects are on display in the pleasant stalls in this enchanting boutique. As an added bonus, you’ll find a large selection of trees from the Ardennes, ready and waiting to be decorated.

Looking for some illuminations for this festive period? The association of illustrators at the “ton piquant” workshop and gallery may be a small revelation for all those who love contemporary posters, styled engravings, wooden toys, badges and illustrated goodies. Close to 25 creative artists will pick up their pens and gather at the L’illuminé.e Christmas market in Ixelles for a weekend with an amazing “garage and light” atmosphere.

Sustainable Christmas craft market to the Tricoterie
