Design September

From the beginning of the month, design is taking over the city with more than 100 events planned as part of Design September. Urban walks, stylish pop-ups stores, upcycling workshops, a vintage fair, conferences and meetings with numerous Belgian and international designers will punctuate the end of the summer. This is the perfect opportunity to meet a number of young talents, such as Belgian designers Maarten De Ceulaer and Axelle Vertommen, but also renowned designers such as the Bouroullec brothers and Armand Jonckers.
In short, a varied and eye-catching programme, including "The Future Begins Now", an inspiring exhibition at the heart of the latest high-tech innovations or the unmissable Brussels Design Market. For lovers of daring shapes and lines and for all those who are curious!

Uptown Art&Design Tour

The upper part of the city is not to be outdone with UPTOWN DESIGN Tour. Led by curator Kunty Moureau and Pascale Dedoncker the Boulevard de Waterloo and Toison d'Or neighbourhood will celebrate beautiful objects. New for 2020 is a temporary exhibition in the Galerie Louise that combines art, design and food!
For its 7th edition, the galleries, boutiques and hotels in this prestigious neighbourhood will present a fine selection of varied creations (furniture, objects, jewellery sculptures, etc.). Among these new creations, the velvety blue modular sofa by Olivier Vitry at Natan, the pure lines of Jeoffrey LUP at Hästens, and the delicate suspensions by Belgian designer Mademoiselle Jo. It's a delightful initiative that offers a beautiful glimpse of the dynamism of the neighbourhood and the design gems of the moment. Is there an object you really like?
