Festival Urban Center Brussel
View the event Urbanistics FestivalHow about a garage with a tumultuous past, converted into an Urban Art Centre? Brussels art collective Propaganza has taken up residence in Forest, under the glass roof of an unused industrial site. Its brick walls are awakened by colourful murals in which birds, monkeys and stylish graffiti abound. The most observant visitors will spot a portrait of Lous and the Yakuzas, street photography and a car pimped especially for the occasion. Artists' studios, workshops and a new shop, opened for the first time in Belgium, complete the landscape.
From Thursday to Saturday between 14:00 and 18:00

At 6 rue des Bouchers, The Sneakers Café is a chic urban spot where you can sip a cocktail and customise your favourite sneakers or have a snack while admiring the decor that mixes basketball references and pop art. It's a social club infused with urban culture and an open stage where stand-ups and themed parties are the order of the day. It's the perfect place to boost your shoe knowledge - and collection - with a drink in hand.
Wednesday to Sunday
What if there was a place in the European Quarter where Brussels' street artists could let their creativity run wild? Art collective Propaganza is taking over the interior courtyard of LEX 66 - tucked away behind the somewhat bureaucratic facades of rue de Loi - and turning it into an urban pop-up bar open for after-work drinks every Thursday. Its walls will be transformed by the work of several Brussels street artists, ranging from the tribal style of Drake 25 to the poetry of Adrien Roubens and the futuristic vibe of Hipsterskulls.
Every Thursday in June and September

It contains a hundred cubist paintings and sculptures by urban artist Invader, whose small mosaics are famous around the world. Made entirely of Rubik's cubes, his works hijack icons from the history of art (from the Mona Lisa to Liberty Leading the People) or reinvent compositions with delirious geometry.
Until 8 January 2023
