The London music scene wouldn’t be the same without Theon Cross. This extraordinary musician feels equally at home in jazz as in other music styles. He has worked together with big names such as Jon Batiste & Stay Human, Pharoahe Monch, Shabaka Hutchings or Kano. For his EP Aspirations he was nominated as "Best Instrumentalist of the year" (Jazz FM Awards 2016) and as "Best Jazz Newcomer" (Parliamentary Awards 2016). He now comes to Flagey with his own trio: leading lady Nubya Garcia and Moses Boyd, who already captured the hearts of a Brussels audience at Flagey during the past Brussels Jazz Festival as a member of Binker & Moses.
