19:00: guided tour FR/EN (max. 25)
Beginning with a letter addressed to a critic and fragments of articles published by the painter, Michel Draguet invents a fictious correspondence where the texts of Khnopff mingle with his recomposed feelings and memories. The letters are accompanied by piano playing melodies by Schumann, Chopin, Debussy, Wagner, Liszt, Jongen and Indy. An original idea of Michel Draguet, director of the Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium and Eliane Reyes, pianist, taking place in the magnificent marriage hall in the City Hall of Saint-Gilles where the frescoes by Fernand Khnopff decorate the walls and the ceiling.
